Main Pool

The main pool, designed as a traditional rectangular pool, is located on the port side of Oasis on deck 15 with a maximum depth of 1.45m (4’9”). The pool is surrounded by a selection of loungers and chairs and features two shaded side-by-side whirlpools ideal for relaxing in.

The main pool is served by the Pool Bar.

As its name suggests the Beach Pool is designed to look like a beach, with a sloped entry where guests are able to wade into the water or relax in colourful deck chairs under parasols as water rolls gently beneath them. Two shaded whirlpools flank either side of the beach for guests who prefer warmer waters.

Located starboard side of deck 15, the pool has a maximum depth of 1.35m (4’9”) and is the ships only salt water pool. Drinks can be purchased from the Sand Bar right next to the pool.

The Sports Pool, opposite the H2O Zone on deck 15, has a maximum depth of 4 ft 9 in (1.45m) and is flanked by one whirlpool.

With drinks available from the adjacent Pool Bar, the pool is used for water team sports including basketball, badminton and water polo in the afternoon whilst the morning hours are dedicated to lap swimming.

The Oasis Dunes aft of deck 15 is a nine hole golf course with a small four hole children's course adjacent to it.

The sports zone on Oasis includes an outdoor Sports Court, aft of deck 15 where guests can take part in games of basketball, volleyball and soccer either with friends and family or in organised sports tournaments held onboard the ship.

The enclosed table tennis tables are located between H2O and the aft area of the Sports Zone on deck 15.

Open 24 hours, with bats and balls provided beside the tables, a number of organised tournaments take place during a cruise.

Oasis’s two rock climbing walls soar 200ft above the sea opposite the Aquatheatre, with challenges for all levels of experience. The two 43 feet high walls are positioned on the boardwalk facing aft with access from deck 7.

The different coloured routes offer different degrees of difficulty and feature bells to ring when guests reach the end of the route. The minimum age to climb the wall is 6 years and waivers must be signed before climbing the wall. 6-12 years olds must have adult supervision at all times and sessions last 30 minutes and are based on a first come first served basis.

Socks, tops and shorts or trousers must be worn and clothing must be dry.

A pair of shuffleboard courts are situated above the AquaTheatre pool aft of deck 7.

Guests wishing to show off their ice skating skills can do so on the ships indoor ice rink, Studio B on deck 4. With a maximum of 50 guests per session, long trousers and socks must be worn along with helmets which are provided. Further safety equipment such as leg and arm pads are available on request.

6-12 years olds must have adult supervision at all times and anyone under 6 must have an adult on the ice with them. Anyone ages 13 and above may be on the ice on their own.

Waivers must be signed to use the ice rink and must be filled out by parent or legal guardian for those under the age of 18. Ice skating sessions last for 45 minutes and are operated on a first come first served basis.

Flanking either side of the elevated back deck (16), Oasis of the Seas has not one but two FlowRider surf simulators on board, each one larger than the single FlowRider introduced on the Freedom class ships. Offering views of the Boardwalk and Central Park below the starboard side FlowRider is for boogie boarding, whilst the port side one is for stand up surfing.

All jewellery items must be removed and ladies are advised to wear a t-shirt. The minimum height requirement for Bogie Boarding is 52” and Stand Up Surfing 58”. Under 18’s must be supervised at all times.

Sessions on FlowRider are complimentary whilst Private lessons are available for $60 for a full hour for a minimum of 4 or maximum of 8 people.

Oasis of the Seas Zip Line aft of deck 16 stretches 82 feet (25 metres) from one end to the other and is suspended nine decks above the Boardwalk. Taking guests on an exhilarating ride across the open-air atrium in around nine seconds, participants must be at least 52 inches tall and weigh at least 75 pounds (and not exceed 275 pounds). Suitable clothing and secure shoes (no bear feet) must be worn with hair tied back and all loose articles removed.

The Zip Line is complimentary with all the equipment including the harness and helmet provided. It is only operational when manned by members of staff. Booking a reservation in advance is recommended as it is a very popular attraction.

A jogging track is located on deck 5, with one lap around the track equal to 0.43 miles. There are dedicated stretching points in the aft section and phrases posted above to motivate joggers to keep going. Featuring both a walking track and a running track, side by side, 1 mile equals 2.4 laps and 5 miles equals 12 laps. (1 lap is 0.6696 km).
